Yashica is a compassionate and attentive clinician who seeks to work collaboratively with a range of mental health challenges/complexities and presentations. Yashica works with a diverse range of clients from adolescents, adults, families, and couples.

Yashica has a previous ‘life’ working in schools as a teacher, having spent time working across generations, bringing a vast array of knowledge to working with adolescents, families, as well as to adults alike. Yashica has a strong work ethic and has devoted much of her last 15 years to honing her skill set in psychology, so that she can serve a vast array of needs to a vast array of client groups.

Yashica tailors her approach to the needs and goals of her clients and is not daunted by complexity. Yashica is a warm and friendly psychologist, committed to welcoming clients into a space where they feel truly seen and valued. Through cultivating meaningful relationships, she seeks to create an environment of trust, safety, and understanding, where warmth and a touch of humour inspire open dialogue and empower clients to navigate challenges and celebrate growth.

Her therapeutic framework draws upon Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
