Couples Counselling

Looking for a family-friendly and supportive environment to start your counselling?

Couples counselling isn’t just for partnerships on the verge of separation or divorce. Once seen as a last resort to keep relationships together, a growing number of people are turning to couples counselling earlier in their relationships.

This can be either as a preventative measure through pre-marriage counselling, or as an ongoing investment in their relationship. By learning to communicate effectively with each other and identify situations that can cause conflict, new connections to the future can be made. Most long-term couples will, at some point, experience periods of conflict, anger, mistrust or a breakdown in communications. Relationship counselling provides an environment where communication is facilitated to help couples express their needs and to learn skills to resolve their conflict.

We work with couples for:

  • Relationship counselling
  • Pre-marriage counselling
  • Affairs and infidelity
  • Communication struggles
  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Dealing with bullying
  • Destructive relationship patterns
  • Frequent arguments
  • Differences in sexual needs
  • Conflicts about addictions, gambling or other behaviours
  • Conflicts about finance or career matters
  • Unfilled emotional needs – feeling hurt, angry, neglected or disrespected.
