Susan is trusted for her authentic, and non-judgemental approach having made listening an art form.

Susan treats a broad range of individuals including complex and clinical presentations; with a special interest in trauma, ADHD/ASD and chronic pain management – drawing on Eye-Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities. She is especially passionate about supporting and affirming neurodivergent individuals and their families and offers practical, collaborative parenting support and problem-solving sessions.

Her ability to find ease, connect with and address issues of the heart and mind are exceptional. She really likes to understand what is going on for people, their strengths, and their barriers before developing a collaborative plan and process for supporting people.

In her free time when not at work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and being entertained by the antics of Arlo their Rottweiler/Bordie Collie cross. She practices yoga alongside Pilates and weight training and loves cooking – not just for the creativity, but as a way of connecting with family and friends. She also enjoys trying new things, even if she’s not particularly good at them.

Susan typically works with children, teenagers, young adults through to older adults moving through transition.
