Kane is renowned for his down-to-earth manner and warm, welcoming approach. Kane highly values people’s lived experience with their mental health difficulties and cherishes every opportunity to join someone as a collaborator in their recovery journey.

Kane has worked extensively with adults, adolescents and families navigating a range of issues including depression, anxiety, family conflict, school issues, cultural and gender-identity issues, traumatic experiences, workplace injuries, relationship breakdowns, etc. He always seeks to innovate and improve the standard of mental health interventions whenever possible, having designed and facilitated effective social anxiety group programs, adolescent peer-recovery programs, and educational workshops.
Kane has particular experience working with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, In-Vivo Graded Exposure, Emotion-Focussed Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Relationship and Family Systems Therapy.
