Therapy to Caris, means teamwork – to provide a safe space where she and her clients work together to best manage life’s ups and downs. Starting therapy can seem like a scary prospect but Caris welcomes anyone who wishes to explore their thoughts, feelings, or curious patterns they’ve noticed throughout their life.
Caris has a passion for working with neurodivergent children, adolescents and adults (either self-identifying or formally diagnosed) to support them in understanding their neurotype. Caris primarily, utilises a neurodiversity-affirming approach to shape the therapy experience.
In addition to this, Caris has a keen interest in working with children, young people and adults that may be experiencing a range of mental health difficulties including depression, OCD, anxiety, panic, phobias, relationship difficulties, and workplace stress. She welcomes any clients who identify as part of the LGBTIQAP+ community.
Therapies utilised include EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy, including some other evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help clients find new ways to cope and achieve their personal goals.
